Broadway At Iroquois (BAI), the resident musical theatre company at Iroquois Amphitheater, is dedicated to producing, presenting, and developing quality, diverse and affordable entertainment.  Now in its 27th season, BAI produces a summer season consisting of musicals selected from the traditional Broadway musical theatre canon.  During the school year, the organization’s educational mission provides site based programming in area public and private schools.  Additionally, three musical theatre camps are open to the public in the fall, winter and summer.

A major, $9.2 million, two-year renovation of the Amphitheater was completed in 2003 thanks to the support of The Olmsted Parks Conservancy, Metro Parks, state and local government, and many other businesses and citizens. New state-of-the art sound and lighting systems, additional seating, improved accessibility and a roof shelter for the stage and half of the seating are among the many improvements made.

Having overcome several obstacles throughout the years, the Iroquois Amphitheater has emerged as a beacon for cultural activity in Louisville’s South End.  Music, laughter, and applause have filled the air on countless summer nights. Sitting under the stars and enjoying the night breeze has become a tradition for many families.
